About the Studio

Arbor Light Studio is a daylight photography studio and creative space in Hartford Connecticut. Located in the original Underwood Typewriter factory, this 1500 sq foot space has 13 foot ceilings with west and south facing windows giving the space an inviting loft atmosphere.

Established in 2017 as his personal studio, Mike Marques soon realized that Connecticut no longer had the abundance of commercial studios it once had. Not only were production spaces needed, but also environments to facilitate gatherings and unique efforts by all creatives.

Arbor Light Studio was created to provide an environment that fosters creativity and community.
